The Midnight Cry: The Pope, Ecumenicalism, and the End Times By Jim Allen
With every passing second, the hands of time move closer to the midnight hour. Jesus is waiting for the Father to say, "Call my children home." But, while we wait for the midnight cry of the Bridegroom, there is another cry going around the world.
Some years ago, Pope Francis called on Christianity and Islam to resolve differences by coming together in peace and unity and brotherhood. I wrote about the call in a Keep Watch article entitled Chrislam.
During the pope's visit to United States in 2015, evangelicals, upon hearing the pontiff's call to unite in love, responded in large numbers showing unwavering support. Some, so convincingly persuaded, are going home to Sancta Mater Ecclesia, the "Holy Mother Church."
The Pope has now expanded this call to all believers in God to become one in love and unity...
