I don't know if this young boy is a Christian. He is more than likely not a Muslim. If this video is translated correctly, this young boy is impressive. I pray that young Christians (and adult Christians) would have as much discernment as this young boy seems to have. He knows the truth from a lie. Christians should also be educated about competing worldviews and religions. The Bible says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." (Hosea 4:6) This 12 year old boy is just stunningly, incredibly smart. Listen to him as he analyzes the Muslim Brotherhood, relentlessly dissecting their power grab for Egypt. WORD OF FAITH HILLSONG CONFERENCE IN FULL SWING
The Christian Post is carrying an interesting story about Saddleback’s Pastor Rick Warren warning leaders they need to learn how to handle “Haters and Critics.” He made those comments at the Hillsong Conference in Australia, perhaps as a pre-emptive strike at those who would question him appearing at a Word of Faith (name it and claim it) conference with these leaders of that movement: Pastor Warren is teaming up with Joel Osteen and “Bishop” T.D. Jakes for the Hillsong Conference in Sydney, Australia,London, New York and Los Angeles. Who is Hillsong? The premiere Word of Faith church in Sydney. Word of Faith, or Word-Faith, is the name-it-and-claim-it prosperity gospel, which is no Gospel at all. As I said when we first shared this story, the 2013/2014 conference circuit makes for some strange bedfellows. We’re trying not to get worked up about “guilt by association,” but at some point you just have to wonder how teachers of different “gospels” can find unity? The Hillsong Conference website says the event is about “being refreshed and inspired and finding great strength and unity amongst the diversity of the local church worldwide.” The diversity is certainly represented in the speaker docket, uniting and melding Word of Faith (T.D. Jakes, the Osteens, Hillsong Church), Purpose Driven/Drucker-designed big business (Rick Warren), Craig Groeschel and Judah Smith. Popular Muslim Imam: Working Towards Sharia for America BY RYAN MAURO Sirhaj Wahhaj is not on the fringe. Major Muslim-American organizations put him on stage as a voice of wisdom. In 2011, popular Imam Siraj Wahhaj offered Muslims a recommendation: Don’t talk about Sharia Law because “we are not there yet.” He didn’t argue for an interpretation of Sharia that is permanently compatible with the West. Instead, he advised that Muslims be quiet for now, in accordance with the Muslim Brotherhood’s doctrine of "gradualism." The most unsettling thing about Wahhaj’s sermons is that he’s extremely influential. He isn’t on the fringe. These quotes are known, but major Muslim-American organizations still put him on stage as a voice of wisdom. Usurping the Seat of Christ - John MacArthur
Within the priesthood in Roman Catholicism, there’s a special group of priests called Jesuits. The new pope, for the first time ever in history, is from the Jesuits. The Jesuit Society is simply The Society of Jesus, nicknamed Jesuits. That’s their name, their official name, The Society of Jesus...
The complete Inaugural Mass of Pope Francis (PBS NewsHour) The New Humble Pope.
A Humble Pope? by Mike Gendron
When Pope Benedict XVI's successor, Jorge Bergoglio, was announced as the new Pope, the one word that many used to describe him was "humble." The Italian pope, born in Argentina, is of the Jesuit order which is known for their vows of poverty and work among the poor. Pictures and articles have surfaced revealing that as an archbishop, Bergoglio took the public bus and cooked his own meals. When it was announced that he would be known as Pope Francis, the connection was quickly made to St. Francis of Assisi, who renounced his wealth to live a life of poverty and service to others. Many have rejoiced that this is just the kind of humble leader that will further ecumenical relationships and win greater favor for Roman Catholicism. Argentine native and international evangelist Luis Palau considers Pope Francis a brother in Christ because of his love for the Bible, his reverence for Jesus Christ and because of the way he prays.
Mike Gendron says: Luis Palau must not know that when anyone preaches a gospel contrary to the one the apostles preached, they are to be accursed (Gal. 1:6-9). The distortion of the pope's gospel includes baptismal regeneration, justification by baptism, justification by faith plus works, indulgences for the remission of sin, purgatory for the purification of sin, law keeping for salvation and participation in the never ending-representation of a Eucharistic Christ on an altar to satisfy divine justice. |
