There are 3 primary ways to explain how the world was created. Of course, there are variances of these 3 views as well, but the primary creation means fall under three categories:
Biblical Creation (Intelligent Design)—“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” Gen. 1: 1. The Biblical account goes on to say, that God created the world in 6, 24 hour days and rested on the 7th day. Rock layers and fossil records are explained by Noah’s global flood of Genesis 6, 7, and 8, so the world is not millions or billions of years old but relatively young.
Atheistic Evolution—(Darwinian Evolution). Here, everything begins with the view thatGod does not exist, therefore, the Bible is fake news and there is no intelligent designer. Instead, all things evolved over millions or billions of years. The ape, for example, evolved into man. Because this view cannot be proven, it is merely a theory yet it is taught in public schools and campuses as scientific fact.
Theistic Evolution—Although there are several variances of theistic evolution, it basically denies the truth of Genesis 1 and 2 as unbelievable but says that God got the ball rolling in creation and chose to use evolution to create the world over millions of years. It is an attempt to fit evolution into the Bible narrative.
