Is Kanye West promoting Jesus or exploiting Jesus? by Julie Roys - Christian Post
Rapper Kanye West is releasing an album that’s all about Jesus. And social media, blogs, and fan sites are on fire with people praising West—and sharply criticizing him.
Some are mad because of repeated delays to the album’s release. Initially, West had promised that his new album, Jesus is King, would release on Friday. But late Friday, West’s wife, Kim Kardashian West, wrote on Instagram that the album would drop Sunday after a “few final tweaks to the mixes.”
Now Sunday has come and gone—and there’s still no album.

Rapper Kanye West told his wife, Kim Kardashian, that he no longer likes seeing her wear outfits that are too revealing, especially out in public, after declaring that he's a born again Christian, reports the Christian Post.
The couple’s debate was documented on a recent episode of the reality show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”
She said, “Just because you’re on a journey and transformation doesn’t mean I’m in the same spot with you,” -- referring to his newfound faith in Christ.

“Is Kanye West really a Christian?” I can’t help but wonder how many people have asked that question—either out loud or in their mind—ever since “Ye” famously announced his profession of faith in Christ. Did the question cross your mind? Should it have? And if it did, should you feel a twinge of guilt for even posing it? After all, God should be the only one to judge, right? Hmmm. “I was just under the weight of my sin and I was being convicted that I was running from God, and I knew I needed to make things right, so I came to Christ. I came out of darkness into the light.” Most people wouldn’t think this quote would be attributed to rapper Kanye West, one of the best-selling musicians of all time, especially considering West’s sinful words and deeds in the past and his high-profile marriage to reality star Kim Kardashian. But his professed conversion to faith in Christ and his traveling “Sunday Services” have been making as much news recently at his just-released album, Jesus is King, which debuted at No. 1 on the charts. Many are responding to his claims of faith with skepticism...

Description: Is the Word of Faith movement biblical? Does this teaching of false prophets have any biblical merit? Prosperity gospel preachers like Kenneth Hagin, Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, Fred price, Jan Crouch, Paul Crouch, are commonly associated with the Word of Faith movement founded by E. W. Kenyon, via Phineas Quimby teachings. These teachings by false teachers, have roots in Mind Science, along with the Name it and Claim, health and wealth gospel movements. In this video, Pastor Nelson with Bible Munch explains what the Word of Faith movement is, where it came from, and what the Bible says about the Word of Faith doctrine.

Description: Justin Peters & Costi Hinn (Benny Hinn's Nephew who LEFT the Prosperity Gospel) on: Are the Word-Faith/New Apostolic Reformation movements in error on secondary issues or do they actually qualify as heretical? In this program Costi Hinn and Justin Peters demonstrate that these movements actually teach a very different Jesus than the Jesus of the Bible. Christology is not a secondary issue. A different Jesus constitutes a different gospel. This program will show why you should be very concerned if you have a friend or family member in this movement. Souls are truly at stake."
Kanye West Unleashes Profanity-Laced Speech, Quotes God Speaking in Expletives to Stop Him From Aborting Daughter - Christian News Network
My comment: Kanye used the harshest profanity (the F word) in a speech recently and even claimed that God spoke to him using profanity (the F word). A Christian should not be using profanity (this is a sin) and furthermore claiming that God uses profanity is blasphemy because we know that God does not sin (see: God is serious about the vain use of His name! - One Way Jesus). God also does not speak to us outside of the Bible. We speak to Him through prayer and He speaks to us through His word. But I don’t even know if Kanye was a Christian when Kim was pregnant with his daughter? God doesn’t hear the prayers of unbelievers (see: Does God hear/answer the prayers of unbelievers? - One Way Jesus).
Kanye said that abortion is murder but then he went onto to say that it should be legal. This is double-mindedness on his part. The Bible says that a double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. If abortion is murder (which it is) then it should be illegal. (See: THE HOLOCAUST OF ABORTION - One Way Jesus.)
Kanye West praises Adolf Hitler on InfoWars - The Worldview in 5 Minutes
Much hyped as a professing Christian, controversial entertainer Kanye West is now heaping praise on Adolf Hitler.
In his recent exchange with radio host Alex Jones, West minimized the Holocaust and said this about Hitler.
WEST: “I see good things about Hitler also. Every human being has something of value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler.”
Today we're diving into the Kanye West (who now legally goes by "Ye") saga that's been unraveling over the past few weeks. We break down the entire timeline, from Ye's initial controversial statements on Tucker Carlson and at Paris Fashion Week to his scary and unhinged comments against Jewish people this week. We look at some of the statements from the unreleased parts of Ye's Tucker Carlson interview and on the podcast "Drink Champs." We discuss his dinner with Trump and the controversy of Ye's relationship with Nick Fuentes and Milo Yiannopoulos. Then, we talk about Ye's appearance on "Timcast," in which he stormed off set after host Tim Pool pushed back on his views on Jewish people, which was quickly followed by an appearance on Alex Jones’ “Infowars,” where he shared very clear and consistent praise for Hitler and Nazis. He was then kicked off Twitter for posting similar anti-Semitic statements. We end with some final thoughts on how we as Christians should approach “speaking out” against things like this.
Kanye (Ye) has had a recent change in religious views and no one seems to have noticed. These views may help explain his recent change in behavior as well. If you're interested in learning more about the Black Hebrew Israelites, see @VocabMalone , who was featured in this video.
