Description:
America faces a crisis. The push for government to take over every area of our lives, including in the “Medicare for all” scheme now being proposed by a new class of socialists in Congress, replaces the sanctity of life with a bureaucratic process.
A growing number of lawmakers are working to repeal any and all restrictions on abortion right up through the moment of birth. And the phenomena of euthanasia and assisted suicide are growing worldwide.
How did we get here? And what can we do about it? We’ll look at those questions on today’s program.
Description: Why was Darwin's Origin of Species accepted so enthusiastically by theologians, scientists, and philosophers? How has science come to be dominated by materialism and naturalism? Charles Darwin has been lionized as the father of evolutionism, but deist and atheist philosophers had been setting the stage for rejecting God as Creator for many years before his book appeared. The ideas of Darwin and his predecessors continue to affect our thinking today, with huge consequences for our society. This presentation will trace some of the ideas leading to Darwin's evolutionary thought and beyond, and how they've affected our culture.

Description: In his book, From Darwin to Hitler: Evolutionary Ethics, Eugenics, and Racism in Germany (2004), Richard Weikart explains the revolutionary impact Darwinism had on ethics and morality. He demonstrates that many leading Darwinian biologists and social thinkers in Germany believed that Darwinism overturned traditional Judeo-Christian and Enlightenment ethics, especially the view that human life is sacred. Many of these thinkers supported moral relativism, yet simultaneously exalted evolutionary "fitness" (especially intelligence and health) to the highest arbiter of morality. Darwinism played a key role in the rise not only of eugenics (a movement wanting to control human reproduction to improve the human species), but also euthanasia, infanticide, abortion, and racial extermination. This was especially important in Germany, since Hitler built his view of ethics on Darwinian principles. In the final chapter Weikart argues that Hitler was not amoral, but upheld a consistent ethic that rested on Darwinian foundations.
Description: In this lecture Dr. Bergman talks about his latest book that surpasses attempts by others to expose the evils of Darwinism, Nazism, and racism. Dr. Bergman takes a look at the role that Darwinian evolution played in Hitler's Nazi campaign of genocide. Throughout the highly documented book there is an obvious thread of Darwinian dogma intertwined in the hearts, minds, and practices of the Nazis. Creationists and conservatives often point out the connection of Darwinism to Hitler and his henchmen. Too many times, that logical point is silenced by statements that claim that Hitler was a Christian. Dr. Bergman pounds the final nail into the coffin of any claim of connections between Hitler's ventures and Biblical values. This fascinating program delves into Hitler's eugenics goals; what triggered his anti-Semitic attitudes; his leading scientists; the connection between social Darwinism and government sponsored mass murder; Nazism as applied evolution; the content of Germany's biology textbooks and more.

Description: The right view of Genesis Creation enables us to think clearly about ‘life’ issues such as abortion, euthanasia, cloning, animal rights, stem cells, etc. Conversely, consistent evolutionary thinking undermines the biblical sanctity of innocent human life, as in Nazi Germany. Dr Sarfati, chief scientist at CMI, is a dual citizen of Australia and New Zealand. He earned a Ph.D. in physical chemistry from a secular NZ university. Dr Sarfati co-authored papers in mainstream scientific journals including one on high-temperature superconductors published in Nature when he was 22. ...

Pro-choice advocates like to frame the debate as simply a matter of ‘choice’. Men aren’t even supposed to have an opinion. But if evolution is true, can there even be freedom of choice if our thoughts are simply the result of chemical reactions? Freedom to choose comes from God, who allowed us this freedom so we could choose to love Him and do His will, not choose our own selfish desires. Listen here.
