"If any man desires to be truly and for ever happy, let him apply to Christ, and be ruled by him. This thirst means strong desires after spiritual blessings, which nothing else can satisfy; so the sanctifying and comforting influences of the Holy Spirit, were intended by the waters which Jesus called on them to come to Him and drink. The comfort flows plentifully and constantly as a river; strong as a stream to bear down the opposition of doubts and fears. There is a fulness in Christ, of grace for grace. The Spirit dwelling and working in believers, is as a fountain of living, running water, out of which plentiful streams flow, cooling and cleansing as water." - Matthew Henry

Contradict - They Can't All Be True! Buddha never claimed to be God. Moses never claimed to be Jehovah. Mohammed never claimed to be Allah. Yet Jesus Christ claimed to be the true and living God. Buddha simply said, "I am a teacher in search of the truth." Jesus said, "I am the Truth." Confucius said, "I never claimed to be holy." Jesus said, "Who convicts me of sin?" Mohammed said, "Unless God throws his cloak of mercy over me, I have no hope." Jesus said, "Unless you believe in me, you will die in your sins." Related:
My Roman Catholic friends, there are some things that you need to know about the virgin Mary. According to the Bible: 1. Mary was not sinless. 2. Mary was not a perpetual virgin. 3. Mary is not to be prayed to. 4. Mary did not ascend to heaven. 5. Mary is not to be worshiped. You would do well to examine the teachings of your church and compare it to what the Word of God actually says. Read: "What does the Bible say about the virgin Mary?" - GotQuestions Mariology - Who is Mary according to Scripture? Doug Harris hosts a debate with Cecil Andrews and Fr. Keith McMillan about the doctrine of Mary. 30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, 31 because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.” (Acts 17:30-31)
The ironic thing is, as far as we know (ultimately only God knows), neither Trump or the Pope is a Christian. The Pope has not repented of Roman Catholicism and it's false gospel and Donald Trump has said that he has never asked God for forgiveness [of his sins] as far as he remembers, but only tries to do better. Neither the Pope or "the Donald", as far as we know, by their own testimony (or lack thereof) have ever come to a true saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, which is only by repentance of sin and faith in Christ alone and not by works. The following is from Berean Research: Pope Francis calls Donald Trump “not Christian” over wall stance by Marsha West Ironically this is a case of the pot calling the kettle black. Many Protestants believe that Pope Francis isn't a true Christian either. Why? Because he teaches a false gospel. (See our White Paper on the RCC). That aside, the Pope of Rome has no business injecting his personal views into American politics the way he has. Could his aim be to sway the election? Two out of six candidates are Catholics -- Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio. Would the pontiff like to see a Catholic win the nomination and go on to become the next President of the United States? Of course he would! I mean, think about it. Should either Bush or Rubio become president, the RCC would be in a much better position.....to rule the world. Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” - John 3:3 The death of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia was sudden and a shock to the American people. He was (reportedly) a family man, a conservative and an ally of Christians. There was much to be appreciated about him. However, we must not make the mistake of labeling him a Christian. As far as we know he was not a born again Christian (all Christians are born again). He was a devout Roman Catholic. Roman Catholicism has a false Jesus (the RC Jesus is not an all-sufficient savior, a once and for all time sacrifice; he is re-sacrificed in the Eucharist every Mass) a false gospel (faith plus works), a false deity known as "Mary, the Queen of Heaven" and many little deities known as "Saints" (it's really a pagan polytheistic (not a monotheistic) religion; they have ascribed to Mary and the saints the divine attributes of God). If Antonin Scalia believed what the Roman Catholic Church teaches about salvation (faith plus works) which is antithetical to what the Bible teaches about salvation (by grace through faith in Christ and not by works), then he was not saved. That is not to say that he did not repent of his sins and trust in Christ alone in the days, hours, or even minutes before he died. We simply do not know, only God knows. As Christians, we should not be confusing the gospel by saying that Scalia (or any deceased Catholic) is with God in heaven (which is not even Catholic; purgatory would have been his first destination; to assume that he is in heaven is the sin of "presumption"). And again, we should not be referring to him as a Christian or a follower of Jesus Christ (the Jesus of the RCC is a false Jesus). He was a devout Roman Catholic and now he's dead; that's what we know. Let's hope that Scalia got saved before he died and pray for his family that they would turn from the idolatrous Roman Catholic Church and come to a true saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, because that's what Antonin would want to tell them if he could. The following is from Pulpit and Pen: President of Focus On The Family Assumes a Papist Into Heaven Focus on the Family is an influential organisation with a highly-regarded voice in many professing Christian circles, despite their recent foray into amazing sinful stupidity by legitimising and promoting the deployment of chemical weaponry against helpless victims. Call that an error of orthopraxy. Now let’s take a look at a recent error of orthodoxy on their part and ask ourselves: What is it that defines Christianity? The obvious answer is the Word of God. What is the single most important message therein? The Gospel. The Gospel, I would argue, is comprised of more than simply an explanation of the principle that was famously (re)iterated in the Protestant Reformation – sola fide, justification by faith alone. It is something more, but it is certainly not less. Now, as you are no doubt aware, Supreme Court justice Antonin Scalia, thought by many to be a conservative stalwart and a major ally of Christian values in the United States, has passed out of this life. Online eulogies abound for the man. It is always important to hold fast to the Word of God in times of grief, loss, or insecurity about one’s individual or national future. This is especially true of people in positions of leadership and influence, as many people look to them for guidance in such circumstances. This should not be a surprise though considering the ecumenical nature of Chuck Colson and those at the Colson Center. Chuck Colson: "[T]hank you, Justice Scalia, for courageously speaking out and reminding us that acceptance by a hostile culture isn’t the goal for those who follow Christ. But bearing witness to the 'truth which is in Jesus' is." Read full article here: http://www.breakpoint.org/bpcommentaries/entry/13/28876 Baptist pastor, Robert Jeffress also said that the late Antonin Scalia, was "a follower of Jesus." No big surprise here either. Jeffress previously said that Catholic Bill O'reilly is a believer and also that the leaders of one of the world's largest false regions (Roman Catholicism), both Pope Benedict and Pope Francis are Christians. THE PAPACY OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH By Ken Silva In the Apprising Ministries piece On Contemplative Spirituality and Charismania I told you that the ongoing evangelical fascination with corrupt Contemplative Spirituality/Mysticism (CSM)–along with its parallel track of charismania–is a major reason why we see the mainstream of professing Protestant Christendom opening itself up for full fellowship with the apostate Roman Catholic Church.
