Listen to Brannon Howse on Worldview Matters (Sep 9, 2010)
Description: (description copied from Worldview Weekend)
Is history repeating itself? Evangelical, Pastor Oswald J. Smith of Canada, after visiting German in the early 1930s, praised Hitler and said that an "evangelical awakening" was coming to Germany despite the fact the German people had bought into moral relativism. Mormon Glenn Beck has said that America is seeing a third Great Awakening and some evangelicals are agreeing with him despite that fact that pagan spirituality is doubling in America every eighteen months. Why will uniting with all religions not bring a Biblical Great Awakening but God's judgment?

Listen to Brannon Howse on Worldview Matters (Sep 21, 2010)
Description: (description copied from Worldview Weekend)
We told you we would not re-visit the Glenn Beck topic unless there was a good reason to do so. Well, many of you e-mailed Brannon over the weekend and wanted to know what he thought of Glenn's September 17th TV program. So, today Brannon plays clips from the Beck program and comments. Glenn continues to push pluralism and universalism. Topic One: Glenn's program was on the four "men" that led revolutions; Jesus, Gandhi, Moses and Martin Luther King Jr. Beck says "let's talk about Him [Jesus] as a man" and then says "if He indeed is the Messiah". So Beck is not only lowering Jesus to the status of a man instead of what He was, God incarnate, but Beck also left in question whether Jesus was really the Messiah. Beck goes on to say that he has made a deep connection to all four individuals and that "their truth is so universal." Did you catch that? Beck said "their truth". This is total postmodernism and universalism. All religions cannot all be true.

Listen to: Worldview Matters with Brannon Howse (Sept 7, 2010)
Description: (description is copied from Worldview Radio)
Rev. Jim Wallis writes open letter to Glenn Beck to tell him that they are not that far apart Last week Brannon explained to his radio audience that the thesis and antithesis of the Hegelian Dialectic Process had been set up between Beck and Wallis and all we need is for the two to synthesis their two worldviews together through the shared ideas of paganism, humanism and good-works, among other ideas, and then a new thesis would be created. Brannon never thought it would only take five days for Wallis to admit how much he and Beck agree and to request that a dialogue begin. Glenn Beck continues to prove that America's Christian leaders should not have given away their credibility to Beck.

Listen to: Worldview Matters with Brannon Howse (Sept 3, 2010)
Description: (description is copied from Worldview Radio)
Today we look at tons of Scripture so we can clearly understand why so many well-known evangelical Christians, pastors, and Christian broadcasters are not seeing the spiritual deception that Berean Christians can so clearly see. Jesus tells us in Mathew 7:13-23 this is what will happen in the last days before his return. Jesus tells us that false teachers will look like Christians and talk like Christians but they will be wolves in sheep's clothing.

This is in response to Glenn's August 18th show. The premise was this:
“The Native Americans were descended from an ancient civilization that existed on this continent in pre-historic and Biblical times. This civilization, had large cities and a very advanced culture, including a writing system and higher religious thought”
Beck went so far as to say, “The ancient Indians actually had religious writings which were a proto-Hebrew Bible”. He also offered the “fact” that the Native Americans were descended from the Jews. He went on to cite various “scholars”, “experts” and “archaeologists” who support this claim. Not only that, but he mentioned a “shocking DVD”, a documentary, that tells us the true story, a story that has been covered up by mainstream science for political reasons.  -- Randy Lovegreen

Listen to Understanding the Times with Jan Markell - Hour 1  /  Hour 2 (8-28-10)

Program Description: (description copied from Olive Tree Ministries)
Jan's guests include Brannon Howse, Eric Barger, and Ed Decker. The issue is Glenn Beck. Over two hours, the ultimate question is: are Christians selling their soul for patriotism? Most conservatives love Glenn Beck. He exposes evil and he loves America. He hates what is happening to this nation. But Glenn has another agenda as the panel proves over two hours: The subtle promotion of Mormonism. Listen and learn what is happening, why it is happening, and who are the Christians participating. While many suggest he is a "saved Mormon," the panel says that is not possible. About a dozen sound bytes are played that are revealing. The Mormons want to "save America" because it is the "promised land." God has a covenant with America. Not so. We urge you all to pray for Glenn Beck.

The American flag should never be lifted higher than the cross of Christ!
I am very grieved by the Christians in our country today. I never thought that I would see so many born-again Bible believing Christians not only approve of, but actually attend an interfaith prayer event.
I don't know if they were ignorant of what was actually taking place at Glenn Beck's "Restoring America" event or if their love for him is so great that it has clouded their vision. Our loyalty should not be to a popular news show guy, a politician, a political party, or even a certain political movement if it lessens the supremacy of Christ and suggests that  all faiths are equal. Our loyalty should always be to Christ Jesus not some political cause. Getting back to faith in a generic god is not going to turn this country around. Only faith in the Lord Jesus Christ will turn this country around. God is judging this nation for the very reason that we have turned away from Him. And to some how think that by partnering with the same people who have turned away from Him or never knew Him in the first place is some how going to persuade God to bless this nation again bewilders me.

Getting back to morality is not going to bring this nation back. Morality minus God (the One "true" God) means nothing. This is akin to the whole good works philosophy, that if we start behaving again that God will bless us. No, the only way to get back to the faith of our founding fathers is to have faith in Jesus Christ, repent and plead with Him to heal our land. "If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14)  God is not impressed with 300,000 who turn out for an interfaith prayer event. The Bible says that God is a jealous God! These type of events not only grieve God, but makes Him angry. And when I see Christians holding hands so to speak with people of false religions or no religion at all, I fear that God's wrath will soon be upon us!

If people want change in this
country, I mean "real change", it's not going to be accomplished by getting the right people in office or even creating more laws. It will only be accomplished by us getting on our faces and repenting of our sins in putting our faith in Jesus Christ as the only means of salvation! What we need is revival in this country, not politics! Change will come if the heart is right!

Support events that proclaim the Gospel message, not some interfaith prayer event like the one we saw this past weekend. There was nothing "divine" about that. Prior to the event, Glenn had said that "the spirit will be moving" and the "spirit is going to be teaching". I have a suspicion that the spirit that was moving and teaching was not the spirit of Christ, but the spirit of anti-Christ!

 This is serious business
here. I believe what we are seeing is the coming one world religion, especially when I see Christians uniting with pagans in masses for a political cause under the leadership of a Mormon. Our loyalty should always be to Christ only. I think that Satan is causing a deception in the church amongst Christian believers. He is dividing the body of Christ and doing a good job at it, too. Christians are choosing a loyalty to Glenn Beck and his political philosophy over and beyond their loyalty to their Christian brothers and sisters, the Bible, and ultimately Jesus Christ!

It's so important for us as Christians not be decieved by Satan and his demons. I really do believe that he used Obama to gain the loyalty of liberal Christians and he is now using Glenn Beck to gain the loyalty of conservative Christians. Satan is very clever! If he can get us sidetracked from what is our mission, that is sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with the lost, then he has won for now! _____________________________________________________________________________________________________

What happened at Glenn Beck's "Restoring America" event was clearly a coming together of different religions to pray for our nation. This was an interfaith prayer event and Christians should not have taken part in it. I think that if it would have been strictly political and there was no mention of God, then it would have been absolutely fine for Christians to partake. But when God enters the picture and it becomes a spiritual event as is what happened this past weekend, we Christians are not to take part, unless of course everyone is lifting up the name of Jesus. But this was clearly not the case.

From the outset this was to be a religious
event. Glenn Beck said so himself prior to the event that this was going to be a "spiritual event" and that "the spirit" would be "moving and teaching" and that people were quote "going to feel things they never felt before"! He had enlisted 5 different "men of the cloth" to speak including a Roman Catholic and a Rabbi. John Hagee (someone who says that Jesus never claimed to be the Messiah and the Jews have their own way to heaven)  was to give the benediction. David Barton said without any doubt that this was to be "a spiritual event' in the interview he did on CBN. I think I heard from Brannon Howse and also read on Glenn Beck's website that people would be singing the hymn "Our Eternal Father" and praying to one God, but the question is "Which G(g)od?" God with a capital "G" or god with a little "g"?

Listen to the program: Following Glenn Beck's Divine Destiny or God's Word?
Host: Brannon Howse
Program description: (description is copied from Crosstalk America)

Conservative talk-show icon Glenn Beck has been a staunch promoter of conservative views in the areas of civil government and law. However, Beck has now moved into an area where Brannon feels Christians must draw a clear theological, doctrinal and spiritual line.

Brannon encourages Christians to draw this line in part because of Beck’s Mormon faith, a faith that rejects the cross and defines Jesus as the spiritual brother of Lucifer.

This is one of the “faiths” that will be representing Christianity when Beck’s Divine Destiny program takes place on August 27th at the Kennedy Center. It’s an event that, according to Beck’s own website, will be a gathering in which "nationally-known religious figures from all faiths will unite…”

Brannon explains why this kind of ecumenical activity, as well as Mormonism, are unbiblical and therefore harmful to the body of believers in Christ and thus to America as well.

John Hagee [says the Jews don't need Jesus to enter the kingdom; along with the prosperity message, Hagee accepts and promotes the doctrine of positive confession] sends out an e-mail alert asking people to join him and Glenn Beck for this "national prayer meeting" on August 27th. Kirk Cameron, the actor and Christian, is Brannon's guest today to explain from a Biblical position why he could not attend "Glenn Beck's Divine Destiny" event on 8-27, after being invited. On his radio program today Glenn referenced a CNN article that also ran today in which CNN took a portion of Brannon's article from our [the Worldview] website in which Brannon, explained from the Scriptures, why we can unite with Mr. Beck on non-spiritual issues but we Biblically cannot unite with him on his self-described spiritual event. On today's radio program Glenn said "looking to one God is the theme" of the 8/28 event. Glenn referred to the CNN article and said "so now the religious bigotry is there too". Since Howse is quoted in the article explaining why we cannot unite with Mr. Beck spiritually, we assume he means Brannon when he says "religious bigotry." Why are we not being religious bigots but Biblical Bereans.

Glenn Beck does not think that gay marriage is a threat to America.

Pay close attention to some of the comments that Glenn Beck makes. He is calling for universalism.

Beck: "One part of culture that I am doing a lot of is...faith. Um...but general faith. We have got to get back to our churches, our synagogues, our mosques, whatever it is...as long as it is not telling you to blow things up. Get back to God and get back to the founding principles." (at 25sec)

General faith? What does that mean exactly? Faith in anything? Faith in myself? Faith in a statue carved out of  metal, wood, or stone? We have got to get back to our churches, synagogues, and mosques? The Christian church, yes, but a Jewish synagogue where they deny that Jesus is the Messiah? Get back to our Mosques? Muslims believe that Jesus was just a prophet and not the son of God, never crucified and never resurrected! Whatever it is? How about a Satanic church, Glenn?

"Get back to God..."  What God is Beck referring to? The Christian God? The Mormon god? Mormons believe that Jesus is the product of a sexual union between father god and mother god and that Jesus is the spirit brother of Lucifer. They also believe that they themselves will become gods of their own planets someday. Or perhaps just a god in general?

"...Get back to the founding principles."  The founding principles were based on the Bible and Christianity, not some generic god or some generic faith, and definitely not Islam or Mormonism.

One other thing, why doesn't he say that we need to get back to our temples? Glenn is a Mormon, he worships at a temple. Be very careful in following Glenn Beck, this is blatant universalism! But that's the reason why Christians should be following Jesus Christ, not Glenn Beck and reading their Bible everyday so that they recognize deception right away!

Beck: "I believe that faith is gonna be the corrective... the antidote that we need." (at 4:11min)

Once again, faith in what? Faith in faith? Faith in politics? Faith in Glenn Beck? It sounds like pie in the sky to me. The only way that we are going to see real change in this nation is by individuals repenting of their sins and putting their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and that includes Glenn Beck!

In addition, Beck does not believe that gay marriage is a threat to our country. He actually makes a mockery of the issue of gay marriage in this particular video clip. Ironically, it was the Mormons who lended Christians a hand in the campaign against gay marriage in California. Some of them were even attacked by militant homosexuals as a result. I wonder what Glenn's fellow Mormons think about his comments on the gay marriage issue? Were all their efforts in vain?

O'Reilly: Do you believe that gay marriage is a threat to country in any way?

Beck: A threat to the country?

O'Reilly: Yeah, is it going to harm it in anyway?

Beck: No I don't. Will the gays come and get us?

O'Reilly: No, okay. Is it going to harm the country?

Beck: I believe that Thomas Jefferson said: "If it neither breaks my leg nor picks my pocket what difference is it to me?

Play the Wretched Segment of the Day (8/24/10)
Description: Todd Friel makes a brief statement regarding Glenn Beck. The true story behind the KJV.
__________________________________________________________________________________________

David Barton says that the "Restoring Honor Event" this Saturday at the Lincoln Memorial will definitely be a "spiritual" one (see video below from 4 min to end). Both David and Glenn Beck want to point the nation back to God. So do I, but the question is "which God?" The Christian God or the Mormon god? God who became a man and dwelt among us or a man who became a god? The faith of our founding fathers was Christian not Mormon. We must not and cannot confuse the two. They are diametrically opposed. And contrary to Mormon theology, Christians do not believe that the Constitution and The Declaration of Independence were divinely inspired akin to that of holy scripture. We believe that the canon of scripture is closed and there is no further revelation other than what is already revealed in the Bible.
I fear as though David Barton and all the people following Glenn Beck and his "Divine Destiny" are being taken advantage of and being used as tools so that someone like Mitt Romney can get elected and set up a Mormon theocracy. This may also be the reason why Glenn doesn't worry too much about gay marriage so to speak. If gay marriage is made legal, then it won't be long after that polygamy can be made legal. And many Mormons while opposed to gay marriage are for polygamy.

Or should you tell her every single day when you wake up and have the opportunity? And that's how I feel about my relationship with Jesus Christ. It is the most important thing in my life, so every opportunity I have to tell Him I love him, or I'm given an opportunity to shout Him out on national TV, I'm going to take that opportunity."

—Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow, responding to criticism from former Broncos quarterback Jake Plummer, who said of Tebow, "I think that when he accepts the fact that we know that he loves Jesus Christ then I think I'll like him a little better. I don't hate him because of that, I just would rather not have to hear that every time he takes a good snap or makes a good handoff." [profootballtalk.nbcsports.com, 11/21-22/11]

Are Sports Sinful? by Todd Tomasella
By the way, if you read the article, you will understand that this article is not about Tim Tebow but rather about sports and non-essentials and how we are not to judge other believers for things that the Bible never specifically cites as being sin. Rom 14-15

The headline from the UK Telegraph on November 21st, 2008 read,
"Michael Jackson has reportedly become a Muslim and changed his name to Mikaeel".
                                  The
singer, who was raised as a Jehovah's Witness, converted to Islam in a  ceremony
at a friend's house in Los Angeles.

He is said to have sat on the floor and worn a small hat while an imam officiated.

According to The Sun, the ceremony took place while Jackson, 50, was recording an
album at the home of Steve Porcaro, a keyboard player who composed music on his
                                  Thriller album.

The former Jackson 5 star was counselled by David Wharnsby, a Canadian songwriter,
and Phillip Bubal, a producer, who have both converted.

A source said Jackson had appeared a "bit down" and added: "They began talking to
him about their beliefs, and how they thought they had become better people after
they converted. Michael soon began warming to the idea.

"An imam was summoned from the mosque and Michael went through the shahada,
which is the Muslim declaration of belief."  (READ FULL NEWS ARTICLE HERE)

In an exclusive interview for Al-Arabiya TV said Jermaine Jackson, brother of Michael Jackson
the world famous singer that Michael may have to declare the Islam before his death.
Jermaine Jackson Praying In a Mosque
There are a few songs on YouTube by Michael Jackson performed in adoration of Islam such as "Mohammad", "Give Thanks To Allah", and the one below "KABAH". Whether or not these are actually being sung by Michael Jackson, who knows? It sounds like him, but I have not been able to verify it. If one or all these songs are by Michael Jackson, they don't sound like they ever made it to studio post-production. I would really like to know where these songs came from.

Doctor Found Guilty in Michael Jackson’s Death
The physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter
nearly two and a half years after the star’s shocking death at age 50. The verdict
came after nearly 50 witnesses, 22 days of testimony and less than two days of
deliberation by a jury of seven men and five women. The trial had focused
primarily on whether Dr. Murray was guilty of abdicating his duty or of acting with
reckless criminal negligence, directly causing his patient’s death.

Dr. Murray now faces up to four years in prison and the loss of his medical
license. Judge Michael Pastor denied a defense request for bail for Dr. Murray
and ordered him handcuffed and taken into immediate custody in the courtroom.

Michael Jackson's REAL cause of death! [OFFICIAL]  by thewayofthemaster

Is Willow Creek on a downward path?
I'm sure that by now you have heard that Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington, Ill., split with Exodus International. Until now, I have only heard politically correct statements from Willow Creek. But apparently, according to Alan Chambers of Exodus International, Willow Creek first met in 2008 with a pro-homosexual group by the name of Soulforce who is (according to their website http://www.soulforce.org/) "committed to freedom for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people from religious and political oppression through relentless nonviolent resistance" and with gay affirming pastor, Jay Bakker and then Willow Creek began a series of meetings with Exodus and other ministries before their final decision to split with Exodus was made.

)

Just last week, emergent church leader and homosexual activist - Tony Campolo, spoke at Willow Creek. Only days earlier, Howard Schultz, the chief executive officer of Starbucks canceled an appearance at Willow Creek's annual leadership conference after pressure from gay rights groups (
http://www.cbn.com/cbnnews/us/2011/August/Starbucks-CEO-Cancels-Willow-Creek-Summit-Talk/). According to Todd Friel of Wretched and Way of the Master, emergent church pastor Erwin McManus spoke at the leadership conference. Friel described McManus' message as "dangerously false". According to Willow Creek's website, The Global Leadership Summit 2010 included a session from Oneness Pentecostal preacher T.D. Jakes titled "Combustible Passion". According to the Christian Apologetics & Research Ministry, Jakes denies the Trinity. CARM:"T.D. Jakes’s view on the nature of God is known as modalism. Modalism is a heresy that teaches the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit do not simultaneously exist as distinct persons. Rather, God at some times and places is the Father, at some times the Son, and other times the Holy Spirit." (See: CARM: T.D. Jakes)

Tony Campolo in his own words:

The following quotes are from an article titled, "Where Did the Emergent Church 'Emerge' From?" By: Dave Fiorazo (http://goodfight.org/a_t_emergent_church.html)

"Going to heaven is like going to Philadelphia... There are many ways...It doesn't make any difference how we go there. We all end up in the same place." 1a

"On the other hand, we are hard-pressed to find any biblical basis for condemning deep love commitments between homosexual Christians as long as those commitments are not expressed in sexual intercourse." 1b

"But the overwhelming population of the gay community that love Jesus, that go to church, that are deeply committed in spiritual things, try to change and can't change..." 1c

"...we want to see God at work converting society, converting the systems, so that there aren't the racist overtones, the economic injustices, the polluting of the atmosphere." 1d

"I learn about Jesus from other religions. They speak to me about Christ, as well."1e

"I'm not convinced that Jesus only lives in Christians." 1f

(Tony Campolo is an author, professor of Sociology at Eastern College, former spiritual counselor to President Bill Clinton, and a leader of the movement called "Red Letter Christians".)

(From 2007) Mature devoted Christians in seeker-sensitive churches are fed up and calling for their pastors to teach the word and not just give them fluffy messages that tickle the ears of the unbelievers. Willow Creek (which is the model for many seeker-sensitive churches) in 2007 reconsidered the way it had been doing church for years after the results of a survey and focus groups. In a Christianity Today article written Oct. 18, 2007 titled 'Willow Creek Repents?' (You can read the entire article at http://www.outofur.com/archives/2007/10/willow_creek_re.html .) It's pastor, Bill Hybels irritated by the results of the survey first reaction was, "I'll feed those people...I'll hire some old seminary prof...I'll feed 'em till they barf!" (watch video here).

But has it gotten better or worse? Are the people at Willow so infiltrated with doctrine now that they are "barfing"? Well, on July 14th, 2010 emergent pastor and heretic Rob Bell (Love Wins) was invited by Pastor Bill Hybels to come and speak at Willow Creek Church. (See: Between the Trees: Rob Bell speaking at Willow Creek Community Church recorded in 2003) I think it's plain to see that either the leadership at Willow Creek is lacking serious discernment or is embracing liberalism (i.e. social justice and the emergent movement). When you lack solid Bible teaching, error is not far off.

The Wretched Segment of the Day: A man who mocks from the pulpit is no pastor (http://www.wretchedradio.com/podcast.cfm?h=48256E389BBE50C5D0EC81284AF95287&page=1) Todd Friel calling on pastors to have some guts and call out apostate preachers. Unless solid Bible teaching pastors call out men like Hybels and Warren to repent or else be marked, with the huge influence that these men have over evangelicalism, it will only get worse.
