You Must be Born Again Mike Gendron and Jason Hauser discuss the topic of regeneration. Jesus elevated this topic to the utmost importance when He declared, “unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3). Find out what the Scriptures say on this topic in contrast to religious traditions that say man is born again by the sacrament of water baptism. Proclaiming the Gospel: The Lord Jesus Christ said we must be born again to enter or see the Kingdom of God. In Roman Catholic theology, Catholics must do things to be born again. God's Word says those who receive Jesus by faith were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. Only God can bring those who are dead in their sins to life in Christ. I pray Catholics will recognize they are still spiritually dead, recognize their hopeless and helpless condition, and cry out to the Lord, "Have mercy on me a sinner." Spiritual life can only be brought forth by the Spirit of God, who is controlled by the Will of God, and who applies the Word of God to a sinner's heart (James 1:18).
